Welcome to Central Malaita Student Association
The Central Malaita Students Association (CMSA) is a multi-dialect and cultural Student Group Consisting of students from Kwara’ae, Langalanga, Kwai and Ngongosila, Malaita Outer Islands, Kwaio and Fataleka. Our vision and objective is to protect the norms and cultural values of our members while at the same time we enhance our academic knowledge and skills towards the promotion of development and the improvement of living standards in our respective regions.

Solomon Islands kurukuru prove to other teams to watch out as the reigning champion defeated New Zealand 8 - 4 last night at the OFC Futsal championship in Suva. Star player and 2009 golden boot winner Micah Lea’alafa was the toast for the young kurukuru scores 4 classic goals. The other goals from Jenan 1, Ragomo 2 and Wetney wrap up the scores. But the Solomon Islands kurukuru have to twice come back from behind to comfortable win the game. In the opening minutes New Zealand make an early lead. Solomon Island then equalize thanks to goal from lea’alafa. At the break New Zealand leading Solomon Islands by 3 – 2.
In the opening minutes of the 2nd half lea’alafa level the score board from a well set play by Wetney and Ragomo. Later on, Wetney then put Solomon Islands ahead and the flood gate open that allow the kurukuru to score the 7th goal. New Zealand score their 4th goal and Jack Wetney put the final nail on the New Zealand’s coffin to make it 8. Final score Solomon Islands 8 New Zealand 4.
Other game results, Vanuatu beat New Caledonia 5 – 4 and Tahiti defeated most improve team Tuvalu 4 – 0.
