FIJI'S new Constitution should be in place come 2013 or 2014, as well as a general election, says Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
This has always been the stand of the Government and Mr Bainimarama reiterated this to the delegation from Namosi that visited the military camp yesterday.
He said the Government was strengthening its financial position and looking at its annual budget to ensure developments in rural areas.
Mr Bainimarama said developments were also focused on the major sectors such as health, education and proper water supply, among others. He said those, and the People's Charter, were what the Government wanted implemented by 2013 or 2014.
