Wedneday this week, the Government House confirmed received petition filed signed by 25 MPs. Press Secretary to Governor General Nigel Maezama confirmed to the media. When ask what the Governor General will do to handle the case Mr Maezama said at this stage it is still unknown.
"We have to just wait because at this stage the Prime Minister only has two options", he said. Either resign or set a date for parliament.
The opposition press secretary Deli Oso confirmed that a total of 25 MPs signed the petition. This included the five ministers who recently resigned and joined the opposition camp.
