The residence was built during the colonial regime some 100 years ago by the British Government.Premier Edwind Suibaea said he will move to William Bell's residence ontop of a hill overlooking Auki township.
Mr Bell is a district officer during the colonial days and was murdered at East Kwaio when collecting head tax in 1927.
"Already maintence is carried out on the residence," he said. "It's an ongoing project funded under the provincial Government Strengthening Project".
"It's an ongoing project which my Government will implement this year," Mr Suibaea said.
